The file cannot be opened

I randomly get this error on multiple different files when
saving to the same name. I'm running Project 2002 on Win
2000 Pro. If I save the file with a new name, I can open
the old file again and save it again with no error. All
files created on P2002. No old ones. Tried reloading
Project. Any clue?

· Check that the file name and path are correct.
· Check that the file format is recognized by
Microsoft Project.
Microsoft Project files saved in a version earlier than
Microsoft Project 98 can't be opened.
If your file is from an earlier version, click Save as
(File Menu), and save in MPX format. Open the MPX file in
the current version of Microsoft Project, project data is
imported, but formatting is lost.
