The File .docx is not available

Since I updated to word 2007 refresh I am unable to open any of the word 2007
files that I saved with the first beta. I keep getting the error the file
(filename).docx is not available. What could be wrong?

Otherwise, this is a MacWord group, and I don't think anyone here is using
the WinWord beta. Better chance of help by posting elsewhere:
