the file is not available

after applying office XP service pack2, word will no
longer open any files. I get the message the file is not
available. Just for kicks, I upgraded office to office
2003 beta and I get the same error.

This is caused by a conflict with (of course) the Norton Office Plug-in. See
"OFF: Cannot Open Office Documents or Cannot Edit Inserted Objects After You
Install Office XP Service Pack 2 or Office 2000 Service Pack 3 [KB328613]"
