The "From" address in my e-mail is missing characters

The "from" address in my e-mail (an e-mail sent by me to others) is now
missing characters. When someone replies to my message it is obviously
undeliverable. I reinstalled Office 2003 and Service Pack 2, but the problem
remains. I don't know where Outlook gets the "from" address. My own address
in my contacts file is correct. I would appreciate help on this.

The Contacts record is irrelevant. It is the data you specified in the
configuration of the e-mail account defined in Outlook.

Thanks very much for the help. I am embarassed to admit that I had been to
the configuration setup you mentioned several times, but had not gone deep
enough into the information to find the erroneous entry.
