please kindly explain or find the solution for the error " The
I/O operation has been aborted because od either a thread
exit or an application request." while we are trying to
uninstall or repair office xp small business

Could be disk read.
Have also seen these solved by running a thorough
scandisk on the harddrive (if your on windows xp - go
into my computer, right click on C and go to properties,
go to tools and click check now, check both boxes and
click start - you'll get a message, click yes and restart
the machine. The scan could take awhile, if it finishes
sucessfully try repairing again.
