The "IF' formula

O

Ozzie

I didn't have any problem with the formula, as long as the
values in E10 matched exactly what was in A4 or B4. When I
put in something other, the result was "false".

I been messing with this too long today :( Basicly I was
trying to set it up so if I typed in the A4 it would put
the respective matlerial in that cell. But my question is
am I going about this wrong how else could I do this to
get the desired result.
=IF(E10=A4,"A320-L7 XLAN COATED",IF(E10=B4,"A194-4 XYLAN COATED"))

The problem I am running into is using the "=" E10=

All the examples I can find show you putting a E10>B4
then this formula would work. The problem with this is I
need to make this sell work for A4 B4 C4 D4 A5 B5 C5
