The installation source is unavailable.

I get the error message "Office Update is unable to check for updates." If I
try to run Detect and Repair, I get the message "The installation source for
this product is unavailable." I also cannot uninstall. What should I do to
fix this?

Do you have the installation source, your original cd(s)?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I have been tied up with other things
and am only now getting back to this. I do have the cd's. However, if I try
to run setup from the cd, I get the same message.

Any further assistance would be appreciated.
