The laptop is preloaded with Office 2007 what do I do

My aunt's new laptop is preloaded with Office 2007. Yup a trial work for a
while version. She's had it just a few days and now, of course, it is not
working, the trial is over. Now, on her desktop she has Office XP Pro
installed. AFAIK she may, according to the EULA, install and use Office on
her laptop as well, so long as she will be the sole user; which she will be.

OK , my questions:

1. Can she just enter the Product Key from the Office 2003?

Or

2. Does she have to install Office 2003 on the laptop instead?

And

3. If yes to # 2, should I uninstall Office 2007 first, reboot then install
Office 2003?

And

4. Are there any other issues I should be aware of?

Thank you very much,
Saucy

Sorry where I said Office 2003, I meant Office XP.

Uninstall the Trial and then install Office XP.You cannot enter the key for XP for
the Trial

You have to uninstall any trial version, together with any activation
assistant, then clear temp files & reboot prior to installing any other
version from cd
OfficeXp is not fully compatible with Vista, primarily Outlook has problems
