the letter "p" in Word

[Feeling Helpless]

Just recently, and unhappily, bought a Dell Inspiron 6000. I have Office XP
2003 (hope I got that right; it's at home). The Word program recently lost
my letter "p," although it may appear, and multiple times, with other keys
(though not consistently). What's a girl to do?

I don't think it is a Word problem. It sounds more like a stuck or defective
key on the keyboard. Call Dell, explain the problem--it might be a simple
fix or you may need to have the keyboard replaced.
