the longest query in sql?

We have a problem with a query. Our query has a lot of
union statements and we would like to know if exist any
restriction with the query size.

IIRC, the SQL String of an Access Query is limited to 64K characters in the
SQL View of the Query. I am not even sure whether my brain would comprehend
a 2K SQL String unless it is a simple multiple unions.

In the GUI Query Grid view, there are some more restrictions due to the
ability of Access to interpret from the Query Grid to an SQL String. Check
Access Help on "specification" for other limits.
