disabled because of your macro security settings

That would indicate that something has installed its own AutoSave macro and
it is either not working correctly or your macro security is set to high to
allow it to run. Check for Macros and add-ins and see what may be causing
this. I take it you have ruled out a virus?

I believe Terry meant to say that someone has created a macro named
FileSaveAs. Look in Tools | Macro | Macros to see if there is one by that
name. If so, you may want to delete it if you can. Most likely you won't be
able to, so change the "Macros in" setting till you figure out which
template or add-in the macro is in; if it's an add-in, you may want to
uninstall that add-in (remove it from Word's Startup folder).
