The Macro Could Not Be Created Word 2007

When I try to record a macro, everything is fine if I save it in
Normal.dotm. But if I try to save it in the document, I get the error
message "The Macro Could Not Be Created."

I click the Record Macro button on the Ribbon. When the Record Macro
dialog opens, I click the Store Macro In dropdown list and switch to
my .docm file: Test.docm (document). Then I click the OK button and
get that error message.

This baffles me because I'm signed on as an administrator, macros are
enabled in this document, but there must be some security setting
hidden somewhere that won't let me embed macros in this particular
document.

Is it just one document? Did you try using the Open and Repair command
available from the Open drop down in the Open dialog box?
