"the ,modification is not alowed"

hey
I wanted to ask you: Why I can't write in my Word? When I try to write it
says "the modification is not allowed because the selection is locked". Why?
Please tell me what I have to do to fix it

Either you haven't activated the product or it's a trial version that has
expired.

Hi Suzanne,
I am running into the same problem. I activated the trial version today
(7/13/07) and it does not expired until Sept.

Any other suggestions?

I don't know for sure, but if you haven't rebooted Windows and restarted
Word, try that.

Glad you got it sorted. There's no limit to the number of problems a reboot
will solve!
