When embedding an Excel 2003 worksheet (Insert-->Object-->Excel Worksheet)
into a Word 2003 document, the excel object works great. I can enter data, I
can enter formulas, etc. I then close Word2003 after saving, and when I
re-open the same document with the embedded Excel, I can double click the
Excel object and it launches the Excel application inside of Word2003, and
life is good. If I wait 15 minutes, sometimes more / sometimes less
something occurs to the document (while open) where the Excel object is no
longer an Excel object. It is treated like a "picture" and when I
(Edit-->Object) on the menu I get a message "the object is corrupt or is no
longer available". At this point the data is totally unusable.
