the openreport action was cancelled

Using Access 2003, working great, then installed another
program that updated the MDAC to 2.8 from 2.7, now I
cannot run, open or edit any reports in my database.
Everything else works fine - querries, forms, etc.. - just
effects reports. Any ideas??? Please e-mail my address

1.) Have you tried running a detect and repair on Office 2003?
2.) Have you tried re-installing MDAC 2.8; Reports rely on the MSShape ado
provider and there may be a problem with the registry settings for that
provider.

Last, we recommend that you NEVER post your real e-mail adddress in
newsgroups for two reasons:

A.) You post them here, we answer them here.
B.) There are lots of spiders that harvest emails from newgroups and if you
want lots of spam, then simply post your email and you'll begin to get
it.......
