The Oracle - template required

R

RC

I am getting a lot of useful information and I want to store that info in an
Access database - to create a kind of Oracle.
I am sure there must be an access template that someone has already designed
that will capture this information even if it needs a bit of tweaking.
Examples of fields I want to Include are, Date of entry, Subject title,
Explanation of problem, Whats the fix, Who is responsible for the fix.
Can anyone offer me a solution or do I have to just create my own from
scratch?

Thanks

Your question threw me for a loop and "Oracle" is the name of a relational
database management system much more powerful than Access. Then I noticed
that you were talking about something like the Greek's Oracle of Delphi to
store knowledge. BTW: Delphi is/was another database system.

Open up Access. Got to File, New. Depending on the version of Access, you
should get a dialog box that includes Templates. Click "On my computer...".
Go to the Databases tab and look at the Service Call Management. That might
be a good start.
