When I highlight and cut or copy a word or phrase, move it and highlight over
another word or phrase I intend to replace -- when I paste the moved
word/phrase it does not replace the highlighted item, it is just inserted
next to the highlighted item. The highlight disappears and the original
word/phrase remains also. The text I inserted is there and the text I
intended to replace is there! This only happens in Word and email. The way
it should work (replacement) is still working in Publisher and Excel. Is
there some setting I need to fix in Word to correct this? I tried replacing
my Normal.dot document with an older version from my backup files and that
did nothing to solve the matter. Word 2003
