"The page cannot be displayed" with Internal Hyperlink (bookmarks

I have had this problem on only a few documents. Internal hyperlinks to
bookmarked sections work fine from my computer or a shared network drive.
When the same file is copied to the FTP server and accessed directly from the
FTP server or via the webportal, the hyperlinks no longer work. The only way
I have been able to correct the problem is to recreate the document from
scratch which can be labor intensive. Copy/paste seems to bring whatever
problem with the text to the new document. I tried "Show formatting" but
didn't see anything different. Compatibility is set to Word 2000; Web
options for Internet Explorer 4.0. Any suggestions or ideas would be
appreciated.
