The path "Microsoft Project 2000 cannot be found"

Hello everyone,
I need a little help here. I have Micrcosoft Project 2003 installed o
an xp pro machine. When I open the program Install Shield start
running. It then says.... The Path Microsoft project 2000 cannot b
found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again. o
try to find the installation package "Install MSI" in a folder fro
which you can install the product Microsft Project 2000. So I have t
hit cancel about ten times. Then projects opens up ,but i cant use it
I have tried to uninstall, then reinstall. No Luck. Any help on thi
issue would be appreciated. Thanx in advance

My first thought is that you may not have a full version of Project
2003. If it is simply an upgrade, Windows will look for an earlier full
version of Project. If there is one, the update will be installed. If a
full version of an earlier version does not exist, the upgrade will not
install.

If you do have a full version of Project 2003, try searching for
previous versions and either delete or uninstall. Then try a clean
install of Project 2003.

I do have the full version of projects 2003. Im looking at the packag
and it says that it is project standard 2003. I will do a search an
see if there is an earlier version installed. Thanxs for the help.
