The Project Application Service doesn't exist or is stopped. Start

Hi All,

Tried creating a Project Web Access Site via-MOSS 2007 and got this error
(below):
"The Project Application Service doesn't exist or is stopped. Start the
Project Application Service."

Had a look in Central Administration and just could not find an avenue for
starting the above mentioned service (Project Application Service). Please
advice as to what can be done and how would I go about it?

Queries of this type are normally better addressed to
microsoft.public.project.server.

Hi Harish

Can you let me know if you solved his problem? I have the same issue and i
cannot find any solutions posted.

It doesnt look like the service is installed on the server, as its not in
the list of services in the Central Administration > Operations > Services on
Server page.

Go to SharePoint Central Admin and Start the service, Services on Server,
Project Application Service
