The Quick Access Tool Bar

I have Office 2007 professional up and running smothly on two new Vista
computers,

Why was it deemed necessary to make easy access to things like save, save
as, print, print preview, open, close, etc a burden by making us dig out the
commands and put them on the Quick Access Tool Bar? That is the every day
stuff.

Hi Richard,

Many of the commands you mentioned are available through the
Office Button (File) menu in the Ribboned Office apps and many of the keyboard shortcuts for those commands from prior versions
still work in the Office 2007 apps.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I know that they are available through the File
button and via keyboard shortcuts ( e.g. right click in Excel to insert a row
or column). That is not the point. The point is that stuff is just too clutsy
to need to deal with. i have gotten up everything I need, but it is all so
basic that this should have never been necessary.
