The Search Key Was Not Found in any Record

I have a row of data that has become corrupted. When I try
to delete it I get: "The Search key was not found in any
record." I have a field that is of memo data type. It has
Error# in it. When my mouse goes over it. I get the
error: "Invalid Argument". I have tried to compact and
repair, but that does not work. I really need to delete
that record. Can someone help me?

Some things to try.

1. After making a backup, Tools | Database Utilites | Repair.

2. Create a new (blank) database.
Import the table (File | Get External | Import).
If that works, import the other objects as well.
