The selected file is not a valid Microsoft Office Document Imaging File

Having the same exact issue... Anyone have a solution? Thx
I saw a post regarding this from November of 2003 but it did not have
an answer. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

This is a problem with Microsoft Document Imaging. After Scanning a
file and saving it in .tif format on a network drive any changes made
to the file over the network cause the file to become corrupted giving
the following message when trying to open it: "The selected file is
not a valid Microsoft Office Document Imaging File". This only
happens when making changes to the file over the network, everything
is fine if the file is copied locally before making changes.

Running Windows 2000 SP 4

Thanks
.

Hi Joe,

You can only view .MDI files if you have the
Office 2003 edition of MS Office Document Imaging.
