The selected project(s) could not be opened in project

I renamed some resources in the Enterprise Resource Pool. Now certain
projects in Project Center--presumably those that had the old resource
names--cannot be opened, giving the error message in the title of this post.

Is there a way to repair and restore these projects, or is the only option
to export the project data to excel (their tasks and resource allocations are
still visible through PWA), delete them from the Project Server database, and
re-create & re-publish them?

Scott, can you "drill down" to the project view when you are in the project
Center? If you you could export the Project Info to Excel.
Have you tried to open the project it in Project Professional by using an
administrator account?
