I cannot get my send to button in OneNote to work. I have tried uninstalling
everything and I still cannot send notes to word or save my notes as word
files. Yes, I do have Microsoft Office 2003 professional Installed but I
cannot get OneNote to work with Word.......Please help!!!!
OneNote came with a trial version of Office but I uninstalled it and
installed the licensed campus product that I own and it does not see the word
application within my program but it did see the trial word version before I
uninstalled it. Why can't I get this OneNote license to work with my licensed
professional 2003 version of Word?????

Can you confirm which "Send To" button isn't working/present? Do you mean
a toolbar button which performs the equivalent to "File | Send To |
Microsoft Office Word..." ?

Just a thought, do you need to install ON after installing office?(for those
features to work.)
and if this is the case, a repair install might work, on onenote.

Yes, that button and I cannot save my one note files as word documents. It
was an option before I uninstalled the Office 2003 trial version but once I
unistalled it and installed our campus Office Pro 2003 version it no longer
allowed me to save in that format. I have tried uninstalling one first and
reinstalling the other and vice versa, but to no avail. Very Frustrated!

I have tried doing all of those things and more but I still cannot get these
features to work. I think this is a way for Microsoft to get you to buy
something you don't need just to make these features work.

What do you see when you try to send to Word? Do you get an error
message? Does it look like it tries to begin the process but dies
somewhere in the middle? Do you just get virtual crickets chirping?

I'd try a Detect and Repair in both OneNote and Word, just to ensure that
everything is registered correctly. When you double-click a *.doc file
in Windows Explorer, it opens up with the newly re-installed Word 2003?

I have an empty pull out window. There is nothing in that button. I already
tried that step but I will try it again, ugh......In one note it seems it
doesn't see that word is installed. I know it has to do with uninstalling the
trial version that came with OneNote and installing our campus license
application.
