The SharePoint site for this project has not been created

Hi, There are a number of projects published on project server and I am
trying to add an issue for one of them but I get this message "The SharePoint
site for this project has not been created..." I have checked and all the
published projects have the same problem. It seems that either when a
project is published it does not automatically create a sharepoint site (how
do I check and what do I need to do to rectify) or these old published
projects are not linked to a sharepoint site (how do I link existing projects
to a sharepoint site? does every project need a seperate sharepoint site or
can they share?)
Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am struggling to get this working,
any and all help appreciatted.

Hi there,

Are you working on 2003 or 2007 , basically you need to go and enable
the automatic site creation for
the sharepoint sites. (Admin Page for 2003 or Server settings Page for
2007) If it is enabled something might be wrong.

You can always try to manually create a site at the same locations, in
the Sharepoint Sites/ project workspaces section.
If that fails look at your server logs and see if you can find an
error relating to Wsscreate.
