The software needed to build a fully functional online hotel reservation system

Hello to all,
I would like to know a most efficient way to build a hotel
accommodation booking database for 5+ salespersons. This system should
be equipped to: 1) Generate unique reservations 2)Generate vouchers,
quote sheets, room lists, hotel text and graphic descriptions, hotel
area mapping, etc... 3) Generate invoicing, and customer care related
issues, sent and received 3) All of the above should be able to access
a public resource on the internet. 4) Should be able to produce weekly
timetabled information; sales reports, tax reports, commission reports,
payroll data information, employee time clock information, etc...

I have probably left many functions out, but this is a good start.

this newsgroup answers questions related to designing and building tables in
MS Access relational database software.

if you are looking for an "off the shelf" product, suggest you google for
leads. if you're looking to build your own application, suggest you don't,
unless you're already very familiar with Access or with another relational
database product. since you're wanting to use the web, i doubt that you can
use Access solely, anyway; you could use it as the "backend" data
repository, but you'd need to build a web interface with another design
tool.

if an "off the shelf" product won't suit your needs, you'll probably have to
hire someone to build an application for you. you should be able to find
contractors by googling. good luck.
