the Spawn addin

I installed and used the Spawn addin (which looks great in the first place)
from Jimco following an advise of one of the experts in this group. The
environment is Win2000 with FP2000. Problem is that I'm getting all the time
the following message:
"Spawn was unable to read data from a previously inserted popup".

Can someone advise pleas?

That issue is documented at the same place where you downloaded Spawn. From
that page:

Special Note to FrontPage 2000 Users
If you are using FrontPage 2000, you may still encounter pop-up links that
Spawn cannot read. In those cases, Spawn will notify you and you will have
to re-enter all information. This issue is caused by a problem with
FrontPage 2000 and does not exist in FrontPage 2002 and later.
