The tab order in a formular is fixed. Can it be changed ?

Hello excelperts

I got a formular in XL2002. This formular has two columns
of
cells that should be filled in by the users.
I would like the order of the tab's to be, first the left
column down,
and then the right column down.
Excel takes the order like this:
1 2
3 4
5 6

And I want it to be like this:
1 4
2 5
3 6

I hope you can help me...

Hi

1. Mark the whole range, you'll enter data to. Pressing Enter after filling
cell moves cursor columnw-ise, pressing Tab moves cursor row-wise.

2. Create an ordered named range, and activate it always before entering
data (I found it some times ago in posting from Tom Ogilvy):
Creating: holding Ctrl key down, select wanted cells in order starting with
second and ending with first. Enter some name for range into Name box and
press Enter.
Activating: select some cell in datarange, and then the name of created
range in Name box.
