MS Access 2000 (9.0.7616 SP-3)
I am getting the above message and have no idea why,
because:
1. The file spec DOES exist.
2. It is spelt correctly.
3. It worked yesterday (and every other day since
inception).
4. I have deleted and recreated it, no change.
5. Everything looks right in MSysIMEXColumns and
MSysIMEXSpecs.
6. I have done the "compact and repair" thing.
A search of Google indicates that:
1. It is not uncommon.
2. It is poorly understood (certainly is by me).
3. People posting help automatically assume it's operator
error ("Go back and check your spelling."), but maybe
there is more to it...
I can't find anything in the MS Access 2000 knowlege base.
I'm at the point now of creating a fresh db and importing
all the objects EXCEPT the specs and manually creating
them again. Not a great solution.
Let me know what you think.
Regards
