The Time Zone problem just got worse.

L

Loren Finkelstein

For some reason, the time zones on most of my calendar items got changed
to Casablanca, Monrovia.

On those items, I no longer get the banner message about the Event and
Computer Time Zones not matching, but now, when accessed from any system
other than Entourage, everything is off by several hours.

I am on an Exchange server. From my PC in Outlook, and from my
Blackberry, everyone's birthday is now a 24 hour appointment that starts
a day early at 8PM.

Needless to say, that really messes up my blackberry.

I tried changing 1 birthday to Eastern TIme (on my Entourage) and it
that fixed it across the board in my other systems.

But I have thousands of items in my calendar. I can't manually change
them all.

Help!!!

Incidentally, before you ask, my Mac's time zone is set for New York
(EDT) which is correct for where I am and Entourage has Eastern Time as
my default time zone as well.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Do you have Sync Services enabled with iCal? If so, is time-zone support
enabled in iCal (Preferences:Advanced)?

When you create new events in Entourage, what time zone do they appear in?

Is your Exchange server in a different timezone than your computer?

Yes Sync Services is enabled with iCal.
No. Time zone support is not on in iCal. Should it be?

Eastern.

Is your Exchange server in a different timezone than your computer?

Nope. Eastern.

Thanks,
Loren
