The timesheet creation failed - PS 2007

Hi Team

In this moment I have a Problem with a user when she try to Create the
Timesheet in this moment appear this message:

"The timesheet creation failed, because of problems with the project I
server or with data validation"

After this occur, the timesheet is created but with NO LINES, and no Import
the task progress from My Task

Can you Help Me

I have the same issue with only one of our users, did you manage to work out
what was causing your problem and any fix ?

I have the same issue… I have found that I can create surrogate timesheet
for the user that is fully populated, however they cannot view the timesheet.
They continue to receive the error.

Has anyone found a solution?

Any update to you on this one? We ran into a similar problem. Given that it
happened on only one or two occassions with this particular resource, I'm
convinced it's a bad task and/or assignment as opposed to something more
systemic.

I had this same problem and managed to finally to get it working. I noticed
that I had marked several tasks completed, but the finish date was in the
future. So it looks like the timesheet was still calculating the work hours
planned, even though it is completed. Seems like a bug.

I fixed this by backing the completed tasks finish dates to a time prior to
the time sheet creation date. Once I did this and resubmitted for approval,
the time sheet creation started to work.
