Hello, All!

A little while ago I found it necessary to restrict access to an
MS Excel spreadsheet. I now would like to remove the restriction
but, to my surprise, there seems no easy way to do this. I have
asked about it in this news group and have received no
suggestions and I have also asked whether this is a restricted
topic with the same result. Well, I have figured out how to do
it tho' the process is a little tedious but it surely must be a
FAQ.

Would someone care to comment?

It was not at all ingenious and a little tedious but I just
copied the workbook data into a new workbook and redid the
charts. I still don't know why, if protecting is an option,
unprotecting is made difficult.

As I told him in another post. Save As, and erase the password and then
Save the file. Not sure why he found that "tedious", but then he also
couldn't find the replies to his posting either, so have to presume
"pilot error".
