the unique id in psi form msp 2007

Hi,
The unique id for task, resource and assignment in psi is guid type but we
can still see the unique id (long data type) column in project professional.
Can you help me to see if there is a way to mapping this two fields or if
there is a way to get unique id with long data type in dataset used by psi.

First, grab the project dataset from the read project method. Then take a
look at the task table. I think TASK_IDColumn should give you the unique id
(long data type) column and TASK_UIDColumn will give you the GUID.

Hi Chris,
I looked value of the TASK_IDColumn and it is the ID which will be
rearranged after the task be inserted or deleted. The unique id column
exists in previous version is missing from psi.
