The user account assigned is in conflict

Hello,

What could be the cause of the following error message in the Project Server
spooler?
NB: a new task has been assigned to an existing resource who has already
several assignments in the project, but when we publish the project:
"The user Windows account or the user name of the user account assigned is
in conflict with an existing account on the server".
