The value you entered isn't valid for this field

In one of my forms, I am getting the following message:

"The value you entered isn't valid for this field."

every time I move from one record to another, whether I have entered new
data into the form or not. It doesn't happen when I move from one field to
another, so I have no idea what "this field" refers to. All the fields in
the table underlying the form are set to the correct data type.

Any idea why this might be happening?

?Any validation rules on any of those fields?

Do you have any fields marked as "required"?

Do you have "Allow zero-length string" set to No for any Text fields in
which you might be deleting a value?

Thanks for the quick reply. Here are my answers:

1. No, there are no validation rules set on any of the fields.
2. There is one field that is required. That field contains data in every
record.
3. ALL of my text fields are set to to No for the "Allow Zero Length"
property (a suggestion made by another MVP). But I am not deleting values in
any of these. The message happens when I move from one record to the next,
whether I change data in the record or not.

Thanks again.
