I like to type my documents in Print Layout format.
Recently, the process of opening a new document places my cursor right near
the top of the page. This is actually higher than the space that's been
reserved for the header.
If I type there, that's where the words appear. For all intents and
purposes, I have overwritten the header.
But in Print Preview, everything appears correct -- there is enough room for
the header.
I've tried getting Word (Office 2003, SP1, running on XP Pro) to create a
new normal template, but that hasn't fixed it.
This started happening only recently -- but I can't say what I did that may
have changed things.
Everything in older files is fine. Just new ones.
Anyone have any ideas?
