The whole screen is scrolling

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

All of a sudden my excel screasheets are not scrolling right. When I use the arrow keys the highlighted cell stay the same but the screen scrolls up or down. This is driving me crazy. Also if I try to enter data into a cell that is off the home screen it switches back to a1 while I am entering the data. Than when I hit enter it jumps back down to the cell I am working with. I think the two problems are related.

Okay it's very possible that I am my own worst enemy - the scroll lock button was on.
