If you find that you do not have enough time to do any fixes before your
computer automatically shuts down, do this...
As soon as your computer reboots and Windows loads, click the Start button,
then Run. Type the following in the dialog box:
shutdown -a (then press Enter)
You should then have the time to: apply the appropriate patch*, remove the
virus and update your registry where needed.
