I am using a theme. I can't seem to get the theme to work on my hyperlinks.
I will also be using arrows and I can't figure out how to apply that either.

What do you mean by "I can't seem to get the theme to work on my hyperlinks."?

What arrows are you talking about, where did you get them, etc.?

Did you have a web / site open when you applied the theme, and have you created a navigation
structure via Navigation View?

I am talking about the themes that come with frontpage. This theme is
supposed to cover the background, previous and next page arrows, the shared
borders, and navigation links.
What arrows are you talking about, where did you get them, etc.?

The arrows I am talking about are the previous and next arrows that I will
use to link my pages together with.

My web site is on my "c" drive right now. It has not been published yet.
Yes, I have created a navigation structure in navigation view.

With the site open in FP, are you testing it via Preview in Browser?

The font and the colors of the theme are there just like they were before.
My arrows and shared border links are supposed to be artsy and all that shows
up is text. I just checked "preview in browser" and it still looks the same.

Ok, you must publish to a server that has the FP2002 extensions, then view the file via http.

Okay, I guess I will have to get back to you later on that one because I've
got more to do before I publish.

Okay, I have published a little of my site and you can see it at:
www.cozyhomejewelrystore.com. The theme still wouldn't work after
publishing. The only part of the theme that wouldn't work is for the
hyperlinks and arrows. I have a feeling that I am supposed to do something
to make them work but I don't know what it is.

You need to build a navigation view of your web site:
Open the web, then open Navigation View.
Drag your pages into the navigation pane, placing them under the Home
page in the correct order. Make sure that all pages in the current
navigation bar are included in the navigation bar.

Open a page.
In the Top Border area, delete the current navigation, then insert a
Link bar:
Insert->Navigation->Link Bars->Bar based on Navigation Structure
Choose "Use Page's Theme" - you will have problems (which can be
overcome) if you choose anything else.
Choose Horizontal Layout
Click Finish
Choose Child Pages under Home, and tick Home Page box.
Save the page - if asked, save the top border as well.

You may wish to experiment with the above choices and settings.
