Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC
Office 2008 12.1.1 is having major issues with the 'Document Theme' functionality on my computer. Basically, if I open Word to a new blank document, expand the 'Document Theme' area of the Formatting Palette, and attempt to select a different item from the 'Colors' pull-down menu, Word crashes. Consistently. Over and over again.
I tried trashing the Office-related prefs files from both ~/Library/Preferences and /Library/Preferences (including the 'Microsoft' folder), as well as trashing the ~/Library/Application\ Data/Microsoft folder with no resolution.
The machine I am trying this on is as follows:
OS: 10.5.3
Architecture: PPC
Model: PowerBook G4 15" 1.67
I also tried replicating this on a different machine.. one with an Intel processor.. and the problem did not exist.
Any ideas?
