Themes in Office 2007

Have peservered with Office 2007 and for the most part like what I am seeing
although originally hated it! However, one thing is driving me barmy. When
I am looking at the different themes to use with my document the flyout menu
goes over the top of the document covering the headings!!! Apart from moving
my headings temporarily to the centre of the document is there anyway I can
view this lovely "format on the fly"?

Thanks in advance

Hi Jane,

Using the View menu you can temporarily turn on the 'Thumbnails' or 'Document Map to move the document being viewed to the right a
bit. (You can also drage the right edge of the thumbmail/Document Map pane wider to be able to see all of your page while the Page
Layout=>Themes gallery is visible). Turning off the View pane restores the document to the previous working size/zoom you were
using.

You can add a keyboard shortcut in Word to toggle the map/thumbnail pane on and off thru Office Button=>Word Options=>Keyboard
Shortcuts=>View
if you use that feature a lot.

Hi Bob,

Tsk, Tsk, I am sure that you mean the view RIBBON! :) But your solution is
just what I needed.

Thanks a lot
