There are no Site Templates insatlled...

Hi,
We tried to customize the Risk and Issues in "Project Workspace" following
the MS procedure. Since then I have 2 Problems.
1. In "manage windows Sharpoint services" > "Connect to Sharpoint server"
when I click [save Changes] I get the "There are no Site Templates installed
on the specified server running windows Sharpoint Services" Error.
2. (probably a result of 1) In "Site Provisioning Settings" the Language is
English but there are no templates to select from.

As a result no Project Sites are being created anymore.

RodMan:

I'm not certain what you're referring to when you say "following the MS
Procedure," but you might try rerunning WSSWiz.exe on your SharePoint site
to restore the Project Server-specific customizations. Take a look at the
FAQ section on the projectserverexperts site in my signature for a
fool-proof procedure to customize the template for your site.

Hi,
I have run WSSWIZ 3 - 4 times already, adjusted language setting so both WSS
and PS are running 1033 language code.
No luck.

I guess that leaves you having to explain more about what you did and the
mysterious "MS Procedure," unless someone else has some ideas.

Well then, you're either pointing to an incorrect address, or you somehow
blew away the templates while adding the new template. What have you done to
investigate?

Hi,
I have rolled back WSS and Proj Srv to before the Problem.
I have matched Language settings of w2k3 Proj and WSS to 1033
The Problem is definately somewhere in the Database.

Interesting:
I ran a trace on SQL when Clicking on the "Manage Sharpoint Services > Site
Provisioning" and found that one of the SP being executed returns a Blank
field and a List of Templates. I have not been able to Identify the query as
the SP is too complicated.

2nd.
Under Manage Sharpoint Sites the Public Documents Site is there but has no
ID.
I have yet to find out if it should have an ID.
