There has got to be an Office 2003 update for the new Media Center

I really like the new Media Center 2005 visual style (AKA Energy Blue),
however it looks terrible in Office 2003. I really think there has to be an
update for Office so that it can truly support the new visual style and look
good. This could be as simple as a small download on officeupdate.com or it
could be part of Service Pack 2.

What do you all think?

I think that my MS Office 2003 setup looks fine with the Energy Blue
theme. What looks bad in your setup?

Indeed, I agree. It seems Office 2003 is only hooked into the Windows theme
if it is the "Luna" theme. If you rename the Royale (aka Energy Bliss) theme
to "luna" in C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Royale, then Office 2003
applications re-assume their appearance.

Wow, you're right! In addition, I've found that .NET 2.0 Framework (still in
beta) programs that use the built in Office 2003 style toolbars and menus
don't have this problem, so it has to be a bug in Office 2003 associated with
the Luna theme.

Here are some example pictures that show how .NET Framework 2.0 menu and
toolbar controls render properly with the Energy Blue/Royale enabled, unlike
Office 2003:

I might even make a new post about this Luna/Office 2k3 bug... I hate to see
such a great operating system be spoiled by this one annoyance.
