There is a line in each new e-mail, how do I stop this?

When I want to send a new e-mail a line appears all the way across my e-mail
page. I will take to paste the line to this e-mail. Two days ago I was
trying to set up a signature on Outlook and I am sure that I must have hit
something that produced this line. I am now having to delete the line before
I start typing any new e-mails; quite frustrating.
