Hi Mahmoud

You aren't going to have much luck asking that sort of question on a
Microsoft news server: They will probably try to pretend that Norton has
screwed up your installation or is reporting errors wrongly (which might or
might not be true depending on whether Norton themselves have found out that
their programs don't work yet: Norton isn't exactly candid about this one
and doesn't want any newsgroups pestering them about their programs which
don't work so they just quietly delete them from newer version of their
utilities and respond to all messages telling people to upgrade to the
newest version of their product!!?).

Your problem sounds more like a scandisk problem or a scamps one? (scanpst
only works from outside the program itself and they dont like to tell you
this in case it helps you fix your problem: The Detect and Repair function
on the HELP menu seems to do very little itself and is one of those
utilities which Microsoft prefers not to have to answer questions about)

Or another undocumented feature they don't like to tell you about (in case
it causes you to continue using your computer as opposed to going out and
buying a new one with a new operating system) is putting the installation CD
into your drive and runniness SFC /SCANNOW
