there IS no "PRO.MSI"!

hello all-

I am very frustrated by trying to install the "Analysis
Toolpak" addins for an Excel 2002 (running on W2K) user.
It prompts me for the installation media, asking for a
PRO.MSI file, which is not present anywhere on that media.

What gives? If anyone can help me maybe I can keep some
of my hair.

Thanks in advance.

This leads me to think that many of you System Admins out
there(not the writer who started this thread)

Like to install software not using the setup.exe file
which is really needed to check if the system is uptodate
and needs certain files and if you install just using the
MSI then you bypass this very critical method of
checking.... So END USERS!! if you had your software
isntalled by using SMS Argue like mad with an iron fist
at these stupid admins that make crappy changes in the
install routines for remote installs!!!

I like the user of this thread also experienced this and
even did a complete uninstall and a reinstall via SMS and
still same problems occurs!!!

Why is it that every SMS admin has the GOD atitude like
hey dont call me I am an admin! Heck you made the error
so we call you!
You broke it we call you plain and simple...
then you scapegoat your problem that you caused by passing
it off to lvl 1 or 2 support... This shows lack of
honesty on your part and a genuine zest to fix things at
your company. Keep it up and I'll make sure you are out
of a job.... But back to this users problem

Did you install this from retail cd or off the network?
We need more info in order to diagnose your problem further

Pro.msi is for Professional Edition. Perhaps you aren't using the
same installation medium, but another, for a different edition.
