There is not enough memory or disk space to display or print image

I am getting "There is not enough memory or disk space to display or print
images" message while opening a word document & the images are not displayed.
The images were pasted directly to the document.

Please let me know if more information required to solve this issue.

Platform information:
Windows XP
MS office 2000
