there isn't enough free memory to refresh the display

I'm working with a table of over 1 million records. After running a query I
try open it in design view I get the above message.

Any suggestions how to get rid of this

Run it on a machine with more memory, or perhaps switch to a server
database like SQL Server. Are you talking about a select query or an
action query?
