There should be a template in your collection for spec writing.

Writing specifications is important but time consuming. MS Office would
probably help a lot of people by offering a set of technical specification
templates that would streamline the spec writing process. I would target
engineers in all industries with a few standard specification writing
templates that could be modified to suit the individual's particular industry.

Engineers in ALL industries? There's no way that's possible. This is why
they make Sales engineers - they come up with specs. Others make those specs
look pretty.
